The Last Time I Swam With My Father I

Staples, salt water, rust on paper, 280x155cm

Staples were applied to digital projections of the ocean currents and coastline in the location where I last swam with my father. Staples were then rusted by soaking the work in salt water from the same environment.

This piece is one of a series of works exploring the concept that landscapes and environmental materials retain memories of people and events.
